Hi everyone,
It was a week ago this afternoon that we were in the final circle facing Katahdin saying our goodbyes.
Thank you for carving out the time. Thank you for your honesty. Thank you for being part of the journey. We are fully committed to continuing the journey and to co-creating a range of tools that will help to expand Wabanaki stewardship of land.
We created the First Light Blog as the place to post your thoughts, questions, requests, and images that result from our gathering at Katahdin and the journey. This is the best place to stay in touch. Please take advantage of it.
Thank you to all of the planning committee for the hard work to create such a wonderful collaborative gathering of the First Light Learning Journey at the New England Outdoor Center in June 2019. I am posting here the map created by The Nature Conservancy (TNC) of conservation lands in Maine as of February 2019. It will also be posted on the resource page of the website. It includes land protected by either fee or easement that TNC is aware of as of February 2019.
